Eager to work with new technologies, the Agora farm cooperative has offered its farmers Atland software for the past four years to help them manage their farms.«Our objective is to lead our farmers towards using computer technology as smoothly and easily as possible to manage their information,» explains Emmanuel Letesse. "With this approach, we also need to make them think about their practices with respect to their technical, economical, and environmental requirements.»

To continue with this innovative and progressive approach, Agora has been selling Atland Mobile since 2013, further simplifying access to information. "Atland Mobile is a very easy application to use for looking up and entering data," adds Emmanuel Letesse.

Recently, Agora has equipped its technicians with the Phytnès II software application (now renamed Agora Phyt@ Trace) for tracking recommendations during the crop season as well as off-season. «Tomorrow's goal is for technicians to track all the recommendations they make to farmers naturally with their tablet computers. We are currently working in collaboration with Invivo and SMAG on possibilities to send recommendations made by our technicians using Phytnès II, directly from Atland. There is therefore a major project to set up data exchange capabilities between these two tools so that our farmers can benefit from a single database and a complete work environment. This is a 180° turn for Agora: from an entirely paper-oriented organisation, we are preparing to go fully digital for tomorrow. We will also be able offer more relevant advice to our farmers, and above all, be more efficient.»

Domaines Listel is a wine-making company that specialises in rosé wines of Les Sables du Golfe du Lyon, as well as rosés from the Provence and Rhône regions. The largest wine-growing estate in Europe, Listel employs 280 people and possesses a total of 4, 500 hectares of green space, including nearly 2,000 hectares of vineyards (1,700 in Les Sables, 300 in Provence). Production levels reach 45 million bottles of Sables and Provence rosés, as well as sparkling wines.

Dedicated to innovation, Domaines Listel has created a unique production tool adapted to elaborating the great wines it offers. Its sand-based vineyards have received "Sustainable agriculture" certification, and one of the group's estates boasts the "Organic" label.

In 2003, management at Domaines Listel decided to move from its ageing viticulture-oriented information system into a modern solution capable of handling both activity management and food traceability, neither of which was covered by the previous system. The group chose Agreo Vine & Wine, SMAG's technical management solution for vineyards and wine-making.

In the vineyard, Agreo Vine & Wine tracks land usage and projects (observations, recommendations, treatment), using mapping and traceability tools. In the cellar, Agreo is used to manage input, fermentation, assembly, treatment and output.

« From a business-oriented perspective, Agreo enables us to increase performance at the administrative level, notably using a smartphone for online look-up, real-time traceability, history look-up and entry of information from fermentation rounds," explains Frédéric Commerçon. Agreo also improved communications within the company, between the various professionals involved with the vineyards and wine.
From an information system perspective, it was necessary to switch from our costly, in-house application to a long-term and continually evolving software solution. Our integration of SMAG's package into Listel's information system makes it possible to share data with other tools, such as the "Eureka Solutions" ERP system and "MQUAI" harvest input tool, as well as the "Dyostem" maturation tracker.

Triskalia is farming cooperative in Brittany, France, created by the merger of Cam 56 Coopagri Bretagne and Eolys. Located in the Rhône-Alpes region, the Terre d'Alliances cooperative specialises in collecting and commercialising grain crops, and supplying breeding, major crop, and vineyard products. The coop has nearly 2,900 members, to whom it provides innovative services and advice to assist with production management.

Terre d'Alliances has offered Atland software to its farmers for the past four years to help them manage their farms. The software attracted attention, with over 80 farmers subscribing starting the first year. Subscription applications have continued to rise ever since. With nearly 120 users referenced at this time, we have had to reorganise our structure internally, notably to be able to handle the strong demand for group training, equipment, and on-site farm visits by our Atland advisors," explains Benjamin Pariot.  We have gone from a single Atland administrator, to three advisors who constantly travel to meet with farmers.

When Atland's mobile version was released in 2014, we communicated widely to our members through the press, e-mailings, flyers, and our extranet. This software also enabled us to build excitement around the solution and to convince new farmers. There is no better option for those who want to be able to access and look up data, and record their jobs quickly and easily without necessarily having to be connected to the Internet.» Our approach has clearly been focused on using innovative solutions, developed with today's most compelling Web technologies as a vector for growth and performance.
